Alamitos Vineyards Wins Big at the 2024 International Women’s Wine Competition – June 2024
San Jose, California June 27, 2024 – Alamitos Vineyards San Jose’s only vineyard winery, is
proud to announce its success at the 2024 International Women’s Wine Competition. The
winery received multiple accolades, including Best in Class, Double Gold, and a 96 score
for its 2021 Estate ‘Andorinha’ Touriga Nacional. In addition, Alamitos Vineyards secured
Silver medals for its 2021 ‘Running Quail’ Pinot Noir and 2020 ‘Night Owl’ Syrah / Cabernet
blend.
Owner and vintner Shaun Coleman expressed his excitement, stating, “We are thrilled and
honored to receive these awards. It is a testament to our dedication and the hard work of
our entire team, including our talented winemaker. This recognition, along with our

The International Woman’s Wine Competition, which celebrates the contributions and
achievements of women in the wine industry, featured an all-women panel of judges,
including winemakers, sommeliers, and industry experts. The competition received entries
from wineries around the world, making this achievement even more significant.
